“I have shared the Idea of the BBLT Toolkit with a variety of friends, both colleagues and family members who have children with disabilities. And everybody I have talked to has been very excited about it. They have seen a need. Immediately I’d hear stories about how: “Oh, in this situation it would have been so helpful for my child” “In this situation, I had this client, and if we would’ve had the BBLT, it would have prevented an extended hospital stay . .” or “It would have prevented a team from having to spend an extended amount of time to figure out the best way for the child with a disability to communicate” Everybody has said, “When will it be available?” “How do I access it?” “How do I learn more about it?” So, I’m very excited about the potential and very excited to see where this goes.
